For the World Event being implemented today, June 22nd, there are plenty of quests for you to do, including daily quests that are associated with the World Event and it’s specific phases. To begin, there are 1 quest (2 if you do not already have Augment Wardstone Planar Ability) and 3 dailies.
Keep reading for a quick guide for the Phase 1 Dailies.
The first daily is called Something Fishy.
It takes place in the major city for you faction. By now you may have already noticed odd npcs walking around the city that appears to be water touched. Similarly they have odd names that has some relation to water.
This quest is pretty simple, find seven of these npcs and use your quest item on them when you are close to them. Lower levels have no fear, the mobs that need to be killed are only level 15.
The second daily is Shell Comes to Telara.
This quest takes us to Shimmersand, right off the coast of Fortune Shore. The eggs are underwater but pretty simple to spot and get to.
When looting the egg, either a level 50 normal mob called a Dark Reaver Mother or a group of 4 Dark Reaver Spawns will spawn. The Dark Reaver mother is very easy to kill and the spawns scatter in fear.
The third quest is Swift Action. This quest is also in Shimmersand, but farther off the coast.
Once you arrive at the quest location, you will notice rift tears under the water.
Once you get close to the tear, which may require a bit of clearing, use your quest item. A level 50 normal mob Tidelord Overseer will come out and attack you. These do not hurt much and are easy to kill. You can use the quest item three times at the same tear and be on your way.
The first of the quest is called Augmenting Wardstones. This quest is only for those who do not already have the planar ability “Augment Wardstone”. The next quest is A Storm Brewing.
This is a group quest that sends players to Runic Decent. The item that players use is located behind the last boss of normal Runic Decent (unconfirmed if it is also in expert)
After completing the quest from clicking the Crystal Remembrancer, you will be able to loot an artifact. And also acquire a new quest from Image of General Stanig. This quest is called The Heir of Hammerknell.
The object of this quest is to locate Rune Tablets spread throughout Telara. These are not marked on the maps, and only clues to their locations by means of the artifacts are given.
The first clue is given from the first artifact that you receive after using the Crystal Remembrancer in Runic Decent.
The Gloomy Rune Tablet is located in Gloamwood in an underwater cave. The entrance to the cave is around [4334, 2758] Follow the cave all the way to the end, there you should discover the Rune Tablet and the next artifact clue. You may die attempting this if you do not have some sort of underwater breathing or swim speed increase.
The Frozen Rune Tablet is located in Iron Pine Peak in The Chancel of Labors underground library. Once you go down the stairs, it is located near the back wall, around [4580, 1560]. Obtaining this Rune Tablet, you will get another artifact that will give you another clue about the next Rune Tablet.
The Mathosian Rune Tablet is located in the south of Stillmoor, inside of Caer Kholum. Once you enter Caer Kholum, it is located on top of the second entrance tower. This is around [1880, 3415]. After getting this Rune Tablet, you will receive yet another artifact with a clue to the whereabouts of the next Rune Table in Scarwood Reach.
The Scarred Rune Tablet is located under Lord’s Hall in Scarwood Reach. The entrance to Lord’s Hall is located around [3060,4120]. Here you should find stairs, after climbing these there will be another set and after those you should see Lord’s Hall. Do not follow the stairs up to the gate, instead go up the ramp to the left. After entering continue until you read the room with the table in the middle. The Rune Table will be to the left around [2788, 4320]
The Harrow Rune Tablet is located in Stonefield. Located to the north of Granite Falls is The Harrow. Behind the Harrow lies a cave, around [5088, 5760]. After following the cave down to the last chamber, the harrow Rune Tablet is located to the left, in front of the Defiant NPCs, on the side of a crypt. This should reward you with the last clue to the drought Rune Tablet.
The Drought Rune Tablet is located in Droughtlands. It is located south underground inside Mordant Knolls, where the ants are located. There is a cave around [8285, 7215], after going down and following it to the main chamber you should find a the queen, behind her lies the last Rune Tablet.
